Reagan Economic Adviser Arthur Laffer on America's Financial Future

He says some key things here in this video. The most notable and rarely mentioned these days are the tax increases that Obama is allowing to occur. Unless we can retake Congress and extend the Bush tax cuts, we will see all income tax rates increase on January 1, 2011.

Chuck DeVore on Good Day LA

It's interesting that the Republican primary race is now being influenced by each candidates position on Israel. I'll have to keep tabs on this one.

How much soap is too much soap?

Modern appliances have become more efficient over the years and so have the soaps we've been using to wash our clothes and dishes.  Yet, many people have not made the adjustment and are using 10-15 times the necessary quantity, according to an appliance repairman interviewed by the New York Times.  In the financial section, they highlight a small, but frequent way to save some money or your detergent bills.  Simply put, it's save some soap.

The Sandpit

This is a movie using a technique called "tilt-shift" photography. It makes real life scenes look like miniatures. The movie was created by Sam O'Hara. For an interview with Sam, go here.

Presentations for Presenters

Do your hands shake when you talk in front of a crowd. Does your mouth dry up like you ran a 20k without water? Do you wish you could have done better? Well, you aren't alone and public speaking still remains #1 at the top of the most feared things on earth. So, if you do want to get better and you have about and 90 minutes, I suggest watching these two videos below to get some inspiration and insight. The first video is just over an hour and the second about 20 minutes. Both are beneficial and if you want to grow in presentations, watch and learn.

Redemption: Old Whitey vs. Young Blackey

For all those times you see young people acting arrogantly and disrespectfully to older people...well, this blog is for you. This whole thing occurred on Monday, February 19th. I've got to say that I appreciate old timers like him.

Warning: Language and violence will ensue in the first video.

This is an interview by KRON4 with the guy a few days later.

Update: I found this video shortly after posting the blog. HIlarious. The whole thing is viral.
